Welcome to Power Over Poverty! I’m Elisã M. Nichols, from Dolton, IL.  With a background in psychology and a deep understanding of financial literacy, I strive to empower my clients by providing the tools and knowledge they need to achieve economic stability. I believe that if I can help individuals navigate the complexities of currency, urban planning, and generational wealth, we can foster a future for our communities and legacies. 

Over time, I realized that my friends and I needed more than just emotional support. It became clear that understanding financial literacy, urban planning, and breaking generational cycles were equally important. This led me to explore topics such as currency, the foreign exchange market, and the impact of government systems on communities.

After diving into study and research, I started applying what I learned to my own life. But I couldn't shake the urge to share this information with others facing similar challenges. My journey started in January 2020 during the pandemic, and by April 2020, the idea for Power Over Poverty came to me. Suddenly, it all started to make sense. I found a solution not only for myself, but for generations to come.
